Designing clarity for a complex world.
BlockTrends is one of Brazil's largest crypto EdTechs, part of the QR Capital holding. I led the end-to-end product design of the app's educational platform, from UX to UI: dashboards, investment calculators, and learning interfaces, translating complex blockchain data into experiences that are clear, functional, and accessible. The platform serves 501k active users and has helped form 27k students.
Problem
Blockchain and crypto data is inherently complex. Most platforms either oversimplify it to the point of being useless, or expose raw data with no context. Our users wanted to understand on-chain data in a simplified way, without losing the substance behind it, and most existing tools forced them to choose between depth and clarity.
Solution
A structured, data-rich interface built around clarity and progressive disclosure: complex on-chain indicators, investment calculators, and educational content organized so users can navigate confidently regardless of their experience level. The hardest decision lived in the on-chain indicators. Showing every metric at once respected the advanced user but buried the beginner; stripping it down for clarity risked insulting the experienced trader the platform was built to serve. I resolved it with progressive disclosure: each indicator opens with a plain, readable summary and lets the user drill into the raw on-chain detail on demand. Clarity by default, depth one tap away, so the same screen serves both audiences without compromising either. Delivered and in production, serving 501k active users and 27k students formed.
